Your company will no longer be authorized to operate in interstate commerce. Federal rules don't allow interstate transportation under an inactive DOT Number.
Compliance Status
Your safety record and operating authority will be marked "Inactive" in the FMCSA system — including your public SAFER Company Snapshot, the page brokers, shippers, and insurers check.
MCS-150 Update
We'll file your Motor Carrier Identification Report (MCS-150) as an Out-of-Business Notification, officially updating your record to inactive. This must be filed within 30 days of the date you stop operating.
